What should I keep in mind before attending my first 1 on 1 therapy session at mind.fit?
Nothing much. Just be ready to discuss your problems with our experts, and let them know how they can be of help. If you have taken professional Psychiatric care earlier, would be great if you can share the medical records with your assigned expert during the session.
What should I expect during my first 1 on 1 therapy session?
The first session is about building trust. Therapy works best when you can trust your Therapist and vice versa. We therefore use the first session to understand your problems better and define a goal based journey on what to expect from therapy and by when.
What should I expect from the follow up 1 on 1 therapy sessions?
Every follow up session is a major step towards solving your problems. With each session, you should be able to discuss progress, make course corrections and get guidance on further treatment.
I am not satisfied with the therapist/pyschiatrist I am seeing.
In case you are not satisfied, you can always book your next session with a different Therapist/Psychiatrist. All your data from existing sessions with be shared with your new Therapist/Psychiatrist only post a go ahead from you. However, we do recommend you stick to your Therapist/Psychiatrist for a few sessions, as Therapy takes time to show results.
